At a cafe, Norwich City was founded on June 17, 1902. The first game they played there 6 September 1902 with a face Harwich & Parkeston in Newmarket Road stadium. In 1905, Norwich took the amateur status and become a professional. The nickname that they use is the Canaries due to the popularity of a canary in the city at that time.

Norwich only managed to taste the highest caste of English football in the 1971/72 season with manager Ron Saunders. A year later, for the first time they performed at Wembley Stadium though later defeated Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in the League Cup.
1984/85 season became the irony season for Norwich. They managed to win the League Cup, but relegated to division one. Norwich makes the record as the first successful English club to win a trophy and degraded in the same season. These new notes repeated again last season with Birmingham City hit. Unfortunately, Norwich allotments appearing in European competition was canceled due to the Heysel tragedy.

One memorable season for Norwich occurred in 1992/93, or just the Premier League era began. Dominated the league since the beginning until the end, eventually had to settle for the Canaries is ranked third behind champions Manchester United and Aston Villa. The following season they played in the UEFA Cup and managed to beat Bayern Munich in the cage opposite, though later removed Inter Milan.

1994/95 season, Norwich relegated to the Championship division and only managed to return to the highest level nine years ago, 2003/04. However, they were immediately relegated again and began the grim period for the club are yellow-green. 2008/09 season, after a series of coaching turmoil, Norwich slamming into the second division or equivalent in the Championship division.

Emerged was the savior figure in self-Paul Lambert. Former Norwich player Scot managed to bring Norwich won the second division and returned to the Championship in his debut season. As if not satisfied transmit inspiration, Lambert returned to the successful lift Norwich England's top division in just two seasons.
Inspiration like that again Norwich needed to overcome challenges in the Premier League this season.
